Managing Checkout Settings

As a school offering sports lessons, you need to manage different settings such as credit card processing settings, receipt settings, and color settings.

To manage settings:

  1. Click the Checkout Settings button at the left menu. The Edit Settings page is displayed.

NOTE: If you do not yet process credit cards you can sign up for (Costs Money - click here) or Google Checkout (Free - click here)
      2.    In the Credit Card Processor area, choose a payment processor to use – or Google Checkout. These two links are meant for signing up for merchant accounts.
      3.    If you have chosen settings, enter the API Login ID and Transaction Key in the Settings area.

To obtain the API Login ID and Transaction Key:

1. Log into your Merchant Interface at
2. Click Settings in the main left side menu.
3. Click API Login ID and Transaction Key.
4. Under Create New Transaction Key, enter your Secret Answer.
Note: When obtaining a new Transaction Key, you may choose to disable the old Transaction Key by clicking on the box titled, Disable Old Transaction Key(s). DO NOT DO THIS.
5. Click Submit.

      4.   If you have chosen Google Checkout, enter the Merchant Account ID and the Merchant Account Key in the Google Merchant Account Settings area.

Log into Google Checkout, Click Settings, then Integration Page:


Un-check the box under Shopping cart post security


Locate, then copy the Google Merchant ID & Merchant Key from the Integration page.


Select SAVE at the bottom of the page

Note: If you just signed up for a Google Checkout account you still need to copy and paste the needed information into RealSportsNow.

      5. In the Receipt Settings area, enter any notes about the receipt in the Notes field. This receipt is viewable online and also sent by email to the customer. An example of receipt notes is as follows: "Thank you for your booking. Please show up 15 minutes early. We do not have a parking lot and it may be difficult to find parking. If you have booked your lesson within 1 hour of the lesson please call us to confirm."

      6. In the Waiver Text area, enter waiver related text in the Waiver field. This box allows you to enter liability waivers, terms and conditions, or other similar items. We make our best effort to display this information to customers and are not liable for any customers who do not see it.

      7. In the Checkout Colors area, set up colors for text, background, heading, and link.

     8. Click the Submit button. A message is displayed as your settings are updated.
